May we dare you to venture into uncharted territories?
We call it the moon. They call it Levania. Two hemispheres, two Clans, two feline societies. The nomadic, power-based Clan of Deep Waters that inhabited the harsh Privolvan hemisphere, and the sedentary, ritual-based Clan Under the Volva, who are lighted by the Earth on the Subvolvan hemisphere. Ages ago, they lived in a golden time. They shared friendships, traditions, and lived together peacefully.
But, like all empires, the golden age must always come to an end, and end it did. It started with a betrayal, a conspiracy, an underground plot to rule all of the moon. And it had to be stopped.
When cats bestowed with the powers to talk to their ancestors in the Stars, they journeyed to the Cave of Star-speaking to plead for help, and advice. The answer they received was not an optimal one, but it was a way out, and the only way available. They accepted.
Each Clan went their separate ways hundreds of years ago, condemned to their own halves of the moon, thoughts of the other Clan fading into the stuff of legends and memories.
And now tensions are erupting again. Dreams have been sent. Visions of another society of cats living somewhere else on the moon have been seen, and are being questioned, pondered over. If any cat was to learn of the power that lies in the other half of the moon, and to use it for evil, great destruction would be inevitable.
It is up to you, dear wanderer, to take your first pawsteps on the path the moon has carved for you. Will you follow the legends of Levania, or will you join in the daily fight for survival alongside your Clanmates? Or do you have a destiny, written by those who came long before you, written in the Stars?
